Free Kids 13 & under 2k Trail run (this
race will not be timed)
We are sorry, we do not
allow youth athletes (anyone under the age of 13) to
participate in our featured races, we strongly
discourage athletes under the age of 16 from
registering. Any participant below the age of 16
and older than 13, who wishes to participate, will need
a special waiver signed by a parent, and that parent
will need to accompany their child, and stay within 10
meters of their child, through the entire course.
Under NO circumstance will a 13-16 year old athlete be
permitted into any race longer than the 5K distance. |

Race Rules
-
Pacing or companion runners are not allowed, unless they are
registered runners.

Unregistered runners are not allowed. Bandits will be
disqualified from this and future races, and may face criminal
prosecution.

Numbers must be worn on the front, not be modified by cutting or
folding, and be clearly visible at all times.

Race officials will determine order of finish if runners cross
the finish line together.

Runners must stay on course, trails will be marked but the
ultimate responsibility of knowing the course lies with the
runner. Runners must follow the marked trail, runners found
running off course will be disqualified.

Runners must give passing room as soon as reasonably possible to
a runner who asks for the trail, uphill runners should yield to
downhill runners.

Runners must complete the distance they signed up for to receive
an award, you can not change your division post race.

For safety, runners who withdraw during the race must inform a
race official or aid station volunteer.

No littering, our races are considered green race formats,
please take out what you bring in, and Leave No Trace.
Anyone caught littering the course will be disqualified.
INSPECTION AND TIME LIMITS
Courses will be open for inspection one hour prior to the race start,
course inspection is recommended but not mandatory.
The courses will close at a designated time that will be published
with race registration information, you will not receive an official
finish time after this closing time. You may continue on the course but
volunteers and race officials may begin taking down directional signage.
